Which Hosting Company?

There are literally hundreds of companies out there that will host your domain for very reasonable prices. Then how do you choose which company to host your domain? That depends on what the companies offer compared to the prices.

  • How many visitors will come to your site?
  • Do they offer pHp4 or 5?
  • How much data trasfer would you get?
  • How much space?
  • How about downtime and their speed?
  • Windows or Linux?

Affiliate Marketers should understand it’s an advantage to have a host with unlimited add-on domains because whenever a new product launches you might want to add another domain with a similar name to attract customers, pre-sell, and redirect them after.

These things you must consider when you look for a host. I’ve found some hosts out there that offer very nice features with some of them being free domain registration, and the costs on many of these companies are less than 10 dollars a month.

Some places do not offer free domains. If they charge you, it might cost less do register at GoDaddy.com and changing the nameserver after getting a host.

Hosting Companies Price Storage Bandwidth Domains Email
anhosting.com $6.95/month 250Gb 2.5Tb 20 Unlimited
apollohosting.com $7.96/month for 1 year 50Gb 500Gb 20 500
dot5hosting.com $5.95/month for 1 year 300Gb 3Tb 25 5000
ipowerweb.com $7.95/month for 1 year 300Gb 3Tb 25 2500
bluehost.com $6.95/month for 1 year 300Gb 3Tb Unlimited 2500
ixwebhosting.com $6.95/month for 1 year 500Gb 3.5Tb 8 5000
hostgator.com $7.95/month for 1 year 600Gb 6Tb Unlimited Unlimited

Look at what they offer and what you need and select the host, just because it’s more money doesn’t mean it’s better. I am personally using Hostgator for my domains, I’ve found their service to be very reliable and what they offer is the best for the price in my opinion.
