What Types of Blogs Are There?
First off, what is a blog? A Blog is short for web log, a journal that is on the web. You can write about anything you like since it’s your own space. From politics to entertainment gossip, from sports to TV shows, just anythingggg!
Now, How do you make money from blogs? Well, you can place ads on your blog, which is one of the easiest ways to generate revenue through blogs. Now, I won’t go into details about the ads in this post, but there are different categories of blogs that earn money.
- Adsense/Keyword oriented blogs - Blogs focused on a specific topic with high priced keywords. Whenever a reader clicks on an ad placed on your site, you will receive the highest amount possible because the topic will be a competitive niche where multiple companies will be paying mucho money for your ad space.
- Content Rich Guru KNOW IT ALL! - Everything you need to know about everything on that topic, this is the place to go to! Because you are the expert and people will be surfing your blog for knowledge, you will generate many page views, and companies might even contact you directly to place ads on your site. When your ranking is high enough and have a steady flow of traffic, the blog will just promote itself!
- Review Blog - Blogs that have reviews of products that people would want to purchase. Generally, most of the reviews come out positive and there will be a link to purchase the product from an online store. You would be acting as an affiliate and make a small commission on the sales.
- Get Paid to Blog - Certain companies will pay you money to blog about a specific topic. If you are known in the blogging world, you may get paid more than others. The amount might not be much but it can add up when u write many of them.
